My second child is to be born in mid December.
Today is mid June 2018, which gives me 6 months to finish my sci-fi book.

Why the urgency? Raising a child is a monumental task so i know that for at least the first few months after child’s birth my hands will be tied – i’ll have very little time for art. But there is more to it too. I’m getting old and so those life events (birth, death etc) make me aware of my limited time here on Earth. Despite my certain accomplishments, i don’t feel i have reached my highest potential. There is still something significant brewing inside me that will either come out through this book or will forever stay dormant. I’ll explore some themes that i know are common in my thinking. Probably the most important one is fundamental question if it’s possible to supersede oneself – to somehow detach self from imposition of time and space and abstractly reach for some kind of beyond-infinity.

Over next few months you will see on this blog images i’ve created (admittedly using various reference image i’ve gathered over the years) and scraps of texts that reflect various parts of the book. Some scraps will be significant – maybe even whole chapters! – others will be brief.

I’m not a write but i’m also pretty critical of my work so i ruthlessly scrap stuff that sound crappy – here you will see both good and bad stuff.
